Außerdem hab ich dann aus der Ferne auch am aktuellen Projekt von meiner Kommilitonin Ina Keck teilgenommen, bei dem man — inspiriert duch zufallsgeneriert Dada-Sätze — aus einem grafischen Archiv, daß sie während ihres bisherigen Studiums bei anderen Projekten angelegt hat, sechs neue Collage anfertigen sollte.

Das Cover hier diesmal auch analog gestaltet und deswegen ein kleines Unikat. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich ein Flyer für eine Ausstellung von der Mitbewohnerin in der kleinen feinen Gallerie »altı aylık«.

Ebenfalls ein Heft mit analogen Collagen, daß als Geburtstags- / Weihnachtsgeschenk für meinen Freund Stefan Gunnesch entstanden ist. Grundlage bildete eins der kleinen, feinen Programmhefte des Babylon (auch das Ghetto, Garaj und andere Etablissements haben Monatprogrammhefte im praktischen Hosentaschenformat).

Nützt ja nichts, ich wollte eigentlich damit warten bis ich sie alle auf einmal reinstellen kann aber das wird wohl noch bis zum St. Nimmerleinstag dauern. Hier also ein paar von den kleinen Projekten, die ich während des Wintersemesters 2007/2008 hauptsächlich nicht für die Mimar Sinan gemacht habe.
Mein Bruder wünschte sich zu Weihnachten einen Terminplaner, in Istanbul gab es sehr feine im Bibel-look mit Goldrand. Am Ende jeden Monats befand sich eine Doppelseite für Notizen, die mir die Möglichkeit baten mal wieder analoge Collagen zu machen. Großer Spaß, auch wenn natürlich nicht alle so die wirklichen Glanzleistungen sind.

Kleiner Work-in-Progress Post zu meinem »neuen« Projekt. Es wird ein Comic! Juche! Hoffentlich! Ach, ich brauch Semesterferien.

I’m doing my very first official, paid illustration job with two fellow students for a charity organisation called »Stiftung Nord/LB-Öffentliche«.

It’s a hell lot of work but I really feel like I am learning a lot too so it’s kinda fun.

We figured out that we wanted to base the whole concept of the work on a tie in the colors of the organisation and that tie goes kinda mad and changes into all kinds of things that make a good metaphor of what the foundation stands for, so that in the end it has nothing to do with a tie anymore but the colors are still left.
